(BWR037) Mystified with Robin Storey - Music For Transit

In 2002, Mystified was excited to embark on a short but very fruitful collaboration with Robin Storey of Rapoon. The result of this collaboration was a remix by Mr. Storey of a Mystified piece, and a collection of original pieces by Mystified. These pieces were released for several months through Soleilmoon Records as Music For Transit, before the CD sold out and went out of print.

Mystified has long felt that the quality of these pieces warrants their resurrection. And now Music For Transit is available on Blue Water Records!
(BWR029) Na-Koja-Abad - Deluvia

Movement in suspension best describes Deluvia, Na-Koja-Abad's fifth album, with its deep, meditative drones, dark ambient washes and effects, and ethereal soundscapes. These contemplative subterranean and submarine spaces are only occasionally intertwined with effective passages of down-tempo, organic, tribal grooves.

Although seemingly still and devoid of change, immersed in a moment, like the depths of oceans and primeval caverns, the images of which they evoke, the sounds of Deluvia slowly shift, morph, and evolve in a continuous, hypnotic ebb and flow.

After nearly two years since the release of their debut album 1.0, Cluster Balm has unveiled their sophomore effort, entitled Instamatic. Reflecting the increasing seamlessness of the work of these three talented musicians, Instamatic delivers nearly 80 minutes of mature ambient listening.

As with all of Cluster Balm's work, the music hovers near dark ambient territory, with the occasional splash of pure light for contrast, and combines innovative sound design with a unique orthogonal view of musicality. The sounds range from the lush and delightful strains of Red Vinyl to the darker but still musical Young Hyson and Root, all the way to the powerful pure-dark imagery of Giving Thanks.

Surreal sounds and the dark emptiness of space permeates Jan Nemeček\'s ambient epic Through The Planetary Void. Conceived as a soundtrack for a complete space journey, it begins with a reflection of pure, simple frequency heard across the galaxy, then travels through lush soundscapes of uniquely fresh sounds. Through The Planetary Void manages to simultaneously evoke images from alien worlds and visions of vast space, while remaining approachable and enjoyable. Highly recommended.
